Floodplain Overlay District
Show Description
The Floodplain Overlay District is hereby created to be coterminous with the areas which are subject to the one-hundred-year flood, as identified in the most current FIRM Flood Insurance Rate Map issued by the Federal Emergency Management Agency. In addition to all other applicable standards of this chapter, the floodplain regulations in Article XV: Floodplain Management shall apply in the Floodplain Overlay District. The identified floodplain area may be modified only in accord with the requirements of Article XV: Floodplain Management and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
